The museum boasts its very own village! Buildings have been lovingly restored by our volunteers who have paid great attention to every detail making sure that everything is as close to authentic as possible.

Take your time exploring with a self-guided tour sheet or ask for a guided tour for your group.

Bring your own tucker, we have tables and chairs for your own picnic or we can cater for your family or group – breakfast, morning / afternoon teas and lunches.

Visit the village and spend just an hour or the whole day

Schools and groups of all kinds are welcome. Be sure to book ahead so we can personally look after you

The Church

Our beautiful little church is available for weddings, christenings and special occasions.

The Old School House

Come for the day and dress in costume to have a lesson in our Old School House.

Our village has 21 historical buildings from the local district you can explore with interactive displays.

    • Pensioners (with valid card): $8

    • Students (with valid card): $5

    • Students (on a school excursion): $3

Accessibility:
We’re proud to offer wheelchair access to most of our buildings. A loaner wheelchair is also available upon request — simply ask our friendly staff for assistance when you arrive.
